Yes we need to have nuclear disarmament, but it must be done with the acceleration of diplomacy. World leaders need to respect each other and learn to collaborate and develop workable solutions to issues.
ReplyDeleteI think the UN needs to be respected by all nations. its work towards world peace and bringing leaders together to discuss and work through issues needs to play a greater role for all humanity.
Remember that Bush decided not to wait for the UN to finish its security council discussion and its investigations of Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq. He disrespected the UN's efforts. So we need to re-establish our respect and presence in the work of the UN.
