Peace is a Fractal
To have World Peace, nation leaders must value peace. Citizens must select leaders who value peace. Citizens must value peace and have peaceful hearts. (Engblom-Bradley, 2009)
February 2 was cold and snowy, so attendance to our Alaska Initiative for Peace meeting was low. But three new participants joined us. One is leaving for Fiji in the South Pacific tomorrow. She will return in a few weeks and have many stories to share of her adventures.
ReplyDeleteWe decided to have a President's Day peace offering. We are planning a cultural event of storytellers, poets, and musicians. Since we have many talents among our illustrious group, we should have a glorious experience for all. We are calling the event "Weaving Our Talents". This will take place on Monday, February 16 at 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm in the Felix Cafe.
